The book is great as an introduction to Linear Algebra suitable for high school or freshman level algebra. The most notable part of the book is the excellent ratio between theory and application.
The textbook is not so big in the text. It consist of only 8 chapters and nearly 600 pages in total. That only proves the high quality of the content. Author sticks to the most important theories. He didn’t lose time on the text which is not relevant to the subject.
Examples are all well set, and not set at the end of each chapter. Instead, they are embedded in the text which helps in better understanding of theorems and definitions.
