This book is a must have for everyone having even a small interest in biology, especially if you are grad/undergrad medical student.
You will find ton of reviews explaining how great this textbook. In this one, we will pretty much tell you the same thing.
The book is divided into 24 chapters grouped in four parts.
The flow of the text is great going from easier to harder subjects. Even hard subjects in this text are easy to understand. It’s just the way the whole book is written.
The author really knows how to keep a reader interested. In each chapter there are “What we don’t know” questions that can wake up a scientist in you and invoke discussions on certain topics.(Chapter 2: “Is the shared chemistry inside all living cells a clue for deciphering the environment on Earth where the first cells originated?“).
