From the first sentence of this small review, we can call this the most complete Nutrition book out there. This is the type of textbook that you simply want to hold on to after finishing a nutrition class.
With its total of 975 pages, the text has been divided into 20 chapters.
The hallmark feature of this book is its well written text full of useful information and easy to understand.
An excellent addition is the tables found inside the covers: Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI), Daily Values (DV) for Food Labels, and Body Mass Index (BMI).
One more thing that caught our attention were amazing graphics that follow the text throughout the whole book. For example, in Chapter 4 you can learn about Carbohydrate Digestion in the GI Tract by simply looking at the picture with accompanying text.
